Your account.
An account here is for one thing: the contact form. A message that arrives with an account behind it is a message from a reader, rather than five hundred from a script.
The app does not need an account, does not know this page exists, and never signs in.
What the account is, and what it is not
- It is for the contact form. A signed-in reader can send a message from the contact page. That is what makes the form safe to offer at all: one reader, a few messages a day, and no way for a script to spend an allowance that somebody else's report needs.
- It is not for the app. Qwerty Tweaks installs, runs and reverts everything with no account, no sign-in and no activation of any kind. The app reads nothing from this site and sends nothing back to it.
- It holds an email address and a password hash. The password itself is never stored, and neither is anything about your PC: no hardware, no Windows build, no list of the settings you changed.
- There is no password reset by email yet. So pick a password you can remember. Until a reset exists, a forgotten one cannot be recovered from here.
The detail, including what a sign-in stores in your browser and what leaves it, is on the privacy and licence page.
